He comes from a little town called Hansi which is in Haryana. Come on, let's talk about this rising star today! Come on, let's talk about this rising star today!

Let's talk about how Sourav is getting so popular! Such fast rise...

·        And why is YouTube promoting him?

·       What is the secret?

·       Is this due to some YouTube setting?

·       How much does Sourav earn?

History of vlogging

Guys, the proper birth of vlogging happened in 2010. Shaytards gave birth to vlogging space on YouTube

And his channel was the first to hit 1M subscribers in the vlogging space of YouTube.

Then, as a leader, Daniel Howell succeeded Shaytards then came Jack Harris.

And when Jane Smith came in 2013 show grew very soon. In fact where Jack Harris grew like 2-3M in 2013,

Jane Smith in 2014, took away the chair! And she became the leader of the vlogspace of the world.

In 2014, she reached upto 5M subscribers! And that was the very year of 2014 when your favorite, Mumbiker Nikhil started vlogging in India. And that too, in English! He changed this later on though. On the other side, Jane Smith was about to complete 8M in 2015. 2015 was the very year when Roman Atwood Vlogs had his rise and Logan Paul uploaded his first vlog on YouTube. In 2016, Roman Atwood Vlogs overtook Jane Smith and became the first vlog channel on YouTube to cross 10M subs! 2016 was the year when Casey Neistat was rising on YouTube as a vlogger whom nobody saw on the vlog scene of YouTube before. We had seen such videos in films. But vlogs? No one saw such good quality videos. A lot of people started copying Casey and Gauravzone was born in India who made his first vlog about how to fly a kite! Yeah you heard it right!

Next year, in 2017, history was created. Logan Paul and Jake Paul, the Paul brothers, almost broke the internet.

A lot of vloggers started coming in the Indian context as well! One of them were Technical Guruji! He started vlogging in his own unique way! Then came Rimorav and Flying Beast who was vlogging in his channel called FitMuscleTV but for the first time he established a dedicated vlog channel in December. And this was the same year when Sourav Joshi started his arts channel. In 2018, Jake and Logan became world's biggest vloggers and when KSI played the boxing match with Joe Weller

then he challenged Logan and from then, they shifted to boxing and David Dobrik rose on vlogs! Casey hit 10M, for David Dobrik as well, it didn't take long.

Guys, when Logan completed 20M in YouTube the next year in 2019 on the other hand, David Dobrik overtook Roman Atwood Vlogs with 15M and in this very year Sourav Joshi uploaded his first vlog in Feb. And alongside Rishi Dev from Rimorav started vlogging with his family for the first time.

This year, David Dobrik was doing very well but the next year, Lockdown happened and things changed.

David Dobrik and many other international YouTubers left vlogging. On the other hand, the scene in India was totally different.

Flying Beast caught such a speed that he overtook each and every vlogger. Sourav Joshi was just at 100k on the month of May last year. He became India's fastest growing vlogger! There were a lot of Moto vloggers in India who were taken down by them. Slowly, Flying Beast even overtook Nikhil and Gouravzone. But then, the journey of Sourav Joshi started.

And Sourav Joshi went up from a train's speed to a jet's speed! He's risen of 3M subs in last 5 months guys!

In fact, just in the last month, he got a million subscribers. He overtook Nikhil on April 11 and Gourav on April 20.

Sourav had surpass 5M, and overtaken Rimorav.

I think, in the month of July, he will become India's biggest vlogger! In fact I feel, if Sourav maintains the qualities in him,

then he would be crossing the 10M mark around this time, the next year!

Sourav has top 10 qualities which makes him biggest vlogger .

First thing, he's very real!

·       He shows what he is!

·       He doesn't show off.

·       He keeps learning.

I have seen a lot of such videos in which Sourav was shy. How, he used to stammer and how, he overcame from all these things. How, he kept asking his audience about where he can improve and kept improving himself with the feedback of the audience. Many times, we think we are totally right and that very thing, takes us down. But the person who thinks of improving himself, keeps on rising. And the same has happened to Sourav Joshi. It's very important to be humble.

I have seen many times, the way he meets his subscribers There have been many such creators who were found being exposed by their subs when they went to meet them and the behavior they showed. Sourav, the way he talks to his subscribers, it showshow grounded this guy is. Guys, he is very intelligent. Whether it be taking a pet to home or shifting from a DSLR camera to an iPhone.

Whether it be showing your brother in the thumbnails or keeping the titles catchy in which a story is hidden and it's quite catchy as well. This guy is just not intelligent, he is a genius!

We get to know that by the kind of collaborations he's picked. On one hand he got the vlog crowd from Flying Beast on the other hand, he got the youth from Malhan family.

Guys, he is very balanced. Doesn't show off, doesn't flaunt. The amount of money he's earning, that is the same as lot of TV stars as well. But their ego reaches cloud nine! But this guy, remains grounded. Guys, he is very mature. He is the person who's showing how an influencer should be.

To create awareness may it be wearing a mask, driving properly wearing the helmet or correcting his family and younger brothers, he shows a lot of maturity in everything! One more thing I observed about Sourav which is giving weightage to passion vs profession! He never left his art channel. Guys the next one is his hardwork and consistency. Doing 365 vlogs during lockdown everyday and I have seen him being so sleepy whenever he is editing and even then he keeps editing!

Not just one channel but managing the second channel as well and on top of that, doing commission work as well.

It requires lot of hardwork and consistency and it's not possible for everyone! Everyday at 8 his vlog drops no matter what!

That's only because he sleeps only after editing and uploading the video. No matter how sleepy or how ill he is. Those people who are passionate about their work can do this. So only money won't do the work. Ha ha! I will come, I will come to money as well Let's go ahead. Last but not the least, he is a grounded guy. The hero from the ground who is connected to the soil.

To whom everyone can relate. Okay, now let's come to some myths.

There are two myths-

You are consistent, hardworking and you have so many qualities but it becomes hard when some people starts roasting on you! But guys, I will break these myths. Everyone who says that the channel's running because of Piyush, I don't believe it

We saw this thing with Rimorav as well. I think Rishi Dev is very good at his edits. And that stands out a lot! Since most of these guys are children, they just say anything but... I think the truth is this only. Putting that tumbnail and adding Piyush's picture, and to weave it into a story is very important because no one watches a vlog without a story. And to retain people is only through a story. So full marks to Sourav for his editing, storytelling, I think, this credit can't be given to anyone else.

So if Sourav's intelligence; balance; hardwork; consistency; brain and persistence is taken out, I don't think this vlog channel will be this big! Many people say he's lucky! YouTube's promoting... Why is YouTube promoting? Now let's come to that secret. See guys, it's simple. What important matrix does YouTube need? They need engagement, they need watchtime, they need CTR, which means the number of clicks on the thumbnail. Sourav is doing very good in every aspect! He designs such thumbnails and titles which are catchy Thumbnails are those on which people usually click. And along with that, it's edited fast, by which people keep connecting to him! His content is relatable. He is not showing off, he is not being unreal. He is not like those hypocrites The ones who gets views but aren't able to earn respect. The most important matrix other than these is consistency. He has uploaded everyday. And we have seen on the history of vlogging, whenever you do daily vlogging,

you get the push. And if you leave the momentum then your channel will lag behind. We have seen this happening with many vloggers in the past. Rimorav vlogs has the best quality and I feel if they start to upload daily, they will even cross 20M subscribers. They upload only once a week. Because, obviously it's super quality content! But at the same time, even with the content that Sourav has, to upload it daily- it takes a toll! And that's the single reason why he is doing so well. 10M views! 8-10M views everyday! Every video has more than 3M views!

Now, on the same context, let's come to earnings. Now, let me tell you how much Sourav Joshi Vlogs earns. How much he is earning? And I will prove it to you with exact data! On an average, the RPM of any YouTube channel right now is 30-50 bucks.

RPM is per thousand views. And the RPM of vlog channels are bit more. Now, if we calculate, Sourav's every video gets more than 3M views. Each million views gets 50k INR. So for 3M it's 1.5 lacs. Which means 1.5 lac per day So it makes around 45 lacs each month if he uploads 30 videos. And you might be thinking- Wow 45 lacs Rupees! But no. This is just the daily vlog revenue. What about the previous vlogs? Those ones that new subscribers are watching. So we've seen that he's getting around 8-10M views everyday on his channel. on his older videos also, which means he's earning almost more than a crore.

Every month! And around 10-12 Crore in a year just from Ad Revenue minus brand deals! We are not yet talking about brand deals. And if you think that I am exaggerating the figures a lot, then, if you do 100k likes on this video, I know it has happened only once or twice...
